n the Indian city of Pune a teacher is arrested on account of writing a love letter to its 10 grade female student. The teacher also tried to entice the girl student by sending her five thousand rupees so she could buy gifts.
The Pune police has arrested the teacher after the court rejected his bail plea and gave him to Police custody till Dec 24.
Police sub-inspector Shivaji Darekar, the investigating officer in the case, said the letter was sent in the first week of December. Shingade took the notebooks of all students from standard X, in which the girl was studying, to check their homework. "He corrected the books of all the students and returned them. However, the girl received her book covered. When she opened the book, she found the letter and the cash. She read the letter and was shocked by its contents. Shingade had written in the letter that he loved her a lot and that it was impossible for him to teach when she was absent. He had written some 'shayari' (Urdu couplets) in the letter," he said.
Darekar said the letter also mentioned that the girl should tell her parents that she had found the Rs 5,000 on the road.
The girl approached the school principal and showed him the letter and the cash. %He immediately called her parents and told them about the incident. "The girl's father lodged a complaint with the police on December 5. Meanwhile, the school authorities suspended Shingade," Darekar said.
Shingade was not arrested immediately as he had applied for anticipatory bail. On December 17, the court rejected his bail plea. "We have arrested him under sections 354 (A) (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act," Darekar said. The police have not interrogated Shingade yet.

About IUB

Bahawalpur has dependably been a seat of higher studying. Uch Sharif, an adjacent old town, had one of the biggest colleges where researchers from everywhere throughout the planet used to desire studies. As a continuation of that convention, Jamia Abbasia was built in Bahawalpur in the year 1925, taking after the scholarly hunts for Jamia Al-Azhar, Egypt. The eminent researchers spread Islam by showing Tafseer of Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and History on top of other contemporary subjects.

In perspective of the evolving situation, Jamia Abbasia was pronounced as a sanctioned University in the year 1975, and renamed as The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. At first, it began working at Abbasia and Khawaja Fareed Campuses with ten Departments. To develop a cutting edge and independent yard, 1250 sections of land of sandy land was procured by the University on Hasilpur Road in the ballpark of eight kilometers far from the downtown area.

Over a time of time with nonstop endeavors and diligent work, the sand rises have been changed over into well-assembled employees, green gardens, inns, private province, ranches and plantations. It is reputed to be Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. At present, there are 60 Department offering 127 systems. Separated from customary teaches of Religious Affairs, Languages, Social and Basic Sciences; instruction is constantly granted in the territories of Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Computer, Law, Education, Fine Arts, Pharmacy, Life Sciences and Sports Sciences. The University values quality instruction as opposed to amount. A group of profoundly qualified and submitted working parts have been locked in to attain this end. Also, the examination has been made foundation of our instructive rationality.

With a specific end goal to furnish chances of higher instruction to the young at their entryway step, two facilities are working at Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar since 2005. A later exceptional expansion to the University is its Ranger Campus in the heart of city. At first, Departments of Management Sciences and Computer Science & Information Technology were created for which reaction was exceptionally empowering.
